Activities Director, Ken Beauchene, and his staff offer a variety of activities and functions throughout the year to help make your experience one you won't forget. With six years of hotel and resort event and recreational experience, Ken is a recent addition to the Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort team. He has planned recreational events at luxury resorts for such corporate groups as Gund and Bose and he brings his experience back to his hometown of Panama City Beach, Florida and Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort.

TENNIS
Featuring performance enhancing surfaces, the shock absorbing qualities of Plexicushion reduce foot and leg fatigue, provide a firm, uniform surface and prevent the early exhaustion caused by playing on a soft, spongy surface. Whether you want to lose weight, tone up, be pampered, or simply unwind, the Spa & Fitness Center in The Club at Edgewater will refresh, revitalize and renew you like nothing before.
Fitness classes are held in the beautiful mirrored aerobics studio. Step benches, jump ropes, exercise balance balls, tension cords, mats and hand weights are provided. The class schedule varies seasonally and includes aerobics, yoga, Pilates, step class and toning as well as a water aerobics class taught in the Lagoon pool. The Club also offers personal trainers and an array of massage therapy and spa treatments. WATER SPORTS
Whether floating around the rock island and waterfalls in THE 11,500 sq. ft. Lagoon Pool or dipping into the Gulf of Mexico from your drop on your parasail flight, relax and enjoy all that Panama City Beach has to offer right there on our half mile of private beach.
Lagoon Pool - As one of the largest pools in Panama City Beach, the Lagoon pool can boast about its 11,500 sq. ft. of Polynesian-style, free-form surface area and elaborate system of waterfalls and islands within the pool itself. The Lagoon pool resides at Tower 1 and is enhanced with 45,000 sq. ft of pavers lining the deck along with fiber optic lighting.
Other Pools - Throughout the resort, guests will have access to the remaining 11 swimming pools, 6 reflecting pools, 4 whirlpool spas and so much more. You'll never be lacking for time in the water.

Coconut Creek Family Fun Park
Featuring miniature golf, bumper boats and the Grand Maze. Approximately the size of a football field and the first giant human maze of its kind in the U.S., the Grand Maze takes visitors on a voyage testing navigational skills through four checkpoints in the South Pacific including Tahiti, Fiji, Samoa and Bali.
Gulf World Marine Park
Open year-round, this marine park features educational exhibits and more than 25 shows including dolphin, sea lion and tropical birds, as well as, a nightly laser light extravaganza. The dolphin educational program is a truly magical and enlightening experience, where guests swim nose-to-nose with dolphins in a controlled environment. Recently added is a 20,000 sq. ft. climate controlled tropical garden where guests may stroll among rare exotic flowers, plants, fountains, waterfalls and pools.

Sea Dragon

Shell Island
Accessible only by boat, this natural, undeveloped island of windswept dunes offers swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, kayaking and shell hunting. Home to one of the world's highest concentrations of bottle-nosed dolphins, this ecological paradise is popular for both locals and tourists alike.
Shipwreck Island Water Park Reprieve for sun worshippers at the Gulf Coast's number one water park. Endless hours of slippery, splashing fun await families with thrilling rides such as the 600-foot long "White Knuckle River" tube slide with three 360-degree turns, drops and dips as well as the "Tree Top Drop" for an adventurous and wild time, while floating on the "Lazy River" provides a perfect relaxation break.
St. Andrews Park & Recreation Area
This 1,063-acre natural state park is comprised of sand dunes, edged by woodlands on one side and the emerald green ocean on the other. The remote beach has some of the best shelling around, and active park-goers enjoy picnicking, swimming, exploring the nature trail, fishing from the pier and boating. The park permits overnight camping, and provides a boat ramp, two fishing piers and showers.
Waverunner Tours/Glass Bottom Boat
For an up-close-and-personal tour of Shell Island, waverunner, glass bottom boat and shelling tours provide everything from underwater viewing and historic storytelling, to crab trap operation and dolphin sightings.
Zoo World
"Lions, tigers and bears!" -- As well as monkeys, elephants, camels and more. This botanical garden showcases more than 350 varieties of animals and 250 species of tropical plants in a natural habitat, while the Gentle Jungle Petting Zoo awakens the child in all with "hands on" fun and a giraffe-feeding platform.
