SCHOOL DAY - SATURDAY, APRIL 25, 2009

All massage schools are invited to provide a chair and/or table massage team to be showcased at the Festival. There is no fee for the school and no entry fee for students to visit the vendors and join in the Massage Symposium. Each student and teacher will receive a certificate of participation and a free door prize ticket. (Last year we gave away over $22,000 worth of prizes!)

Saturday's schedule for students and visitors is:

7:30 am - 9:30 am
Massage Symposium - students are welcome to attend the Symposium and ask questions or offer opinions to the Panel. This is a great opportunity, perhaps a once-in-a-lifetime, to meet some of the industry leaders.

10:00 am
History of Massage presentation by Judi Calvert

10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Massage Schools Showcase/Competition - in the Vendors Hall

Schools and students will be judged in: Posture/Body Mechanics, Fluidity, Transition, Continuity, and Overall Performance.

7:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Schools and Students are invited to attend the Comedian Lanny Moody Show, followed by the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame Ceremony and the Hall of Fame Reception. There is a fee of $10 per person to attend these events. Reservations to attend these events must be made no later than March 15, 2009.
