Ilana Craig Alberico, is the founding partner of Innovative Spa Management which specializes in developing and managing spas that coordinate the concept throughout the design, operations, employee training programs, product selection, and menu ultimately providing financially secure and profitable operations dedicated to superior service. Her personal mission is to provide spaces for healing, healing centered education, and life improving experiences.
She is also the owner and Founding Partner of Privai and Privai Academy. Privai Academy offers licensure programs and advanced training for estheticians, massage therapists, and spa managers. Privai is a paraben free results driven skin care line rich in antioxidants including EGCG, and enhanced with the Privai essence, a toning blend of essential oils and pentapeptides. Privai was developed by a team of experts including botanists, chemists, estheticians, and aromatherapists and is only available at Privai Academy and fine spas.
She writes articles on spa design, development, and operations and teaches management and employee training programs at spa industry conventions and at Privai Academy. A licensed massage therapist and former spa director, she is passionate about treatment and dedicated to creating the optimal spa experience. She has provided consulting, design, development, and management services for companies such as the Biltmore Estate, Kessler Collection of Hotels, Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, and Noble House Hotels and Resorts.
