Claire Marie Miller
Nurturing the Mother
Claire Marie Miller began her work in the health profession in 1974 as a radiologic technician. In 1979 she graduated with honors from the Boulder School of Massage Therapy. Since then, Claire has continued her studies through varied and extensive workshops, conferences, and individual instruction sessions.
She began teaching in 1981 and has maintained a private practice in massage and reflexology since 1980. Claire taught for the Lake Tahoe Community College and the Human Potential Center in Lake Tahoe, California. She has served as a teacher in North Carolina for the Body Therapy Institute, Carolina School of Massage Therapy, Community Wholistic Health Center, Therapeutic Massage Training Institute, and Touch America, Inc. She has instructed thousands of students in: Swedish, pregnancy, and infant massage; lymphatic drainage; Shiatsu; yoga; foot reflexology. In 1990, Claire developed Nurturing the Mother, a pre and peri-natal massage workshop and certification program. She initiated Bring the Feet to Life, in 1993.
