Paul 'brings to the table' a wealth of academic and clinical experience. His two year comprehensive educational training at Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic, Toronto, Canada offered him technical instruction in Swedish massage, Myofascial Release, Joint Mobilizations, Muscle Energy, Hydrotherapy, Lymphatic movement and drainage, Remedial Exercise, Sports Massage, and Orthopedic Assessments. Paul is a Certified Reflexology Healthcare Provider. He is also a fitness instructor and with almost 2 decades of training in Aikido (black belt), enables him to include advanced biomechanics into his classes so that participants learn how to practice the techniques of massage with ease and grace and without strain on the body. Paul has presented and is scheduled to instruct upcoming workshops in Canada, Japan, United States, China, and England.
His diversified clinical experiences at Ambulatory Care Clinics include high risk pregnancy and post partum at Women's College Hospital, strains, sprains, low back pain and stress management, spinal cord injury at Toronto Rehab Institute Lyndhurst site, senior care; as well as treating hundreds of patients with other challenging conditions such as Guillian-Barre Syndrome, leg-lengthening, hemiphalgia, post-surgical management of implants, lumpectomy, mastectomy and hip replacements to name a few.
Paul created and is featured in his 7-Language In-Chair Massage Instructional DVD which is now available worldwide.
