ABOUT BEREA, KENTUCKY

The Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea is conveniently located alongside Interstate 75 at exit 77, just 40 miles south of Lexington, KY, and only 2.5 miles from downtown Berea, the "Folk Arts and Craft Capital of Kentucky."
The Berea Welcome Center is housed in a restored 1917 L & N Railroad Depot and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Find information here to plan your tour of the town. The Welcome Center also has information to tour you through the Bluegrass and horse farm regions. From the Tourist Welcome Center Depot, you can walk to many fine shops in Old Town and visit the largest concentration of working Studios in Berea.
