Cindy Ballis

For twenty years I've been demonstrating and teaching techniques developed by my father, the Sacro Wedgy® inventor. He started this journey using his hand to hold the sacrum as taught to him by an osteopath. Massage therapists starting using the Sacro Wedgy® to enhance existing techniques and a unique modality took form utilizing the Sacro Wedgy® to address specific muscle imbalances. Requests from therapists for more instruction of how to use this valuable tool is what lead to this class. It will be information they will always use for themselves and their clients throughout their careers.

"Please allow me to share my delight in Sacrology (Sacro Wedgy). I have been a massage therapist since 1983 (almost 30 years), I was surprised I had never heard of the Sacro Wedgy since it has been around for 20 years, but I am so glad to be aware of it now; Personally, Professionally and Financially.

Personally, I have been using the SW and my chronic psoas (hipflexor) issue is being re-trained & my posture has improved, in addition to less low back pain from overwork strain. I have enjoyed it on long drives, it helps me keep my low back with the proper curve by supporting my Ischial Tuberosity.

Professionally, in the 3 weeks since I took the Sacrology class I have used the Sacro Wedgy with my clients (with sciatic/piriformis issues, LB pain) & have witnessed great results. I have been able to share with at least 5 clients a week, ranging from elite athletes sitting in a bike saddle for hours to the corporate desk jockies sitting in an office chair hours on end. We fit them properly with the SW & take them through a stretching routine. We then teach them to do their own stretching routine for use at home on a daily or as needed basis. I am so excited to share with many others.

Financially, it is a way to make a little extra money without having to work so hard. I hope more massage therapists take advantage of this training & are able to enhance their current practice with this technique & product.

Wishing you all the best"

"I would like to let everyone know about an amazing wedgy called the SacroWedgy! Last Fall, I saw it being demonstrated in a vendor hall at a educational forum. I was fascinated by the concept of balancing the sacrum without having to physically hold the sacrum with my hand underneath the weight of one's body. Most of the time I am very uncomfortable with that technique.

Cindy Ballis of SacroWedgy (B&B Marketing) and instructor of Sacrology offered to do the treatment on me. I was very pleased at the continued benefits from the one treatment. So much so that I got a group of fellow massage therapists together in Hickory, NC for a CE class in April. The class was very informative and we had alot of fun too!

Since the class, I offer this treatment and have the male and female SacroWedgy's available for resale in my office. I have had an excellent response to both.

I would like to encourage all therapists to take this class. You'll be amazed too.

Sincerely,
Lisa Kemerait, LMBT NC 960

Sacrology® - study of the sacrum utilizing the Sacro Wedgy®
14 CE Contact Hours

The purpose of this class is to offer guidelines of our common sense understanding of the theory of the sacrum - the "keystone" of our anatomy and our anatomical center of gravity. We will also discuss the complexity of the muscles and nerves surrounding the sacrum. By utilizing the Sacro Wedgy® combined with a variety of gentle non-invasive releases and strengthening isometrics, we offer the therapists or individual a tool to help create muscle balance to help themselves as well as their clients. The simplicity of the Sacro Wedgy® addresses the complexity of the pelvic girdle or the "core" of our anatomy. The more we achieve muscle balance in the middle, the better the entire posture which transfers to fewer symptoms.

I want this class to be a "one time" class - not an introduction to another class but the experience and repetition of the routines to be secure enough to include the Sacro Wedgy® as one of the most valuable tools in the "arsenal" of Massage Therapy tools. Don't forget the most important part of learning these techniques and that is the self care part for therapist with their own "issues". That's why each therapist will first receive their own demonstration to help with sciatica, low back pain, leg pain and more. Then each therapist will start working on each other to learn a very gentle approach to releasing the psoas and piriformis muscles - the more gentle and relaxing therapy is, the more likely the client will return.

We are looking forward to a fun class with a lot of hands on. Just wear comfortable pants - no jeans please
