Teaching Research Literacy: Teach Your Teachers 4 CE Credit Hours The volume of research about massage is increasing at a rapid pace. In order to build evidence-informed practices, new massage therapists must be able to access, evaluate, and use this information. This process must begin with educators in the classroom. Teaching Research Literacy will help massage educators find ways to build research literacy and use research findings in their already-existing curriculum.
Whether you teach massage therapy techniques, A&P, or professional development, you will come away with new tools and ideas to implement in your classroom. This will enable you to send out students who are discerning and literate-some of whom might want to go on to develop research capacity themselves. Teachers should come prepared with lesson plans and areas of interest for this interactive class. |
