Leslie A. Young, PhD, is Editor in Chief of Massage & Bodywork magazine and Vice President of Communication for Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. She holds a master's degree and doctorate in organizational communication from the University of Utah. Her interest in the Foundation's mission stems from her respect for scientific inquiry and her determination to help further the profession through academic credibility and public education. She loves to travel, cycle, and teach scuba. She lives in Colorado with her husband Rick Giase, a Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist, and their yellow Lab, Sundance.
