Elisa worked for the famous Dr. Robert Lerner, "Pioneer of Lymphedema Treatment" over a decade ago and became owner and Clinic Director of the Ft. Lauderdale, LTS Clinic. The clinic served as the "clinic day" site for 3 Nationally recognized MLD certification institutions and was honored in The Global Directory of Who's Who in Business. As educator and business owner, she recognized the need for specialized MLD studies to meet the expanding MLD market.

Professor DiFalco has served to educate insurance companies; Medicare & Humana, trained the elite spas; The Diplomat, The Ritz-Carlton, & The Grove Park Inn and is a Keynote Speaker for American Cancer Society. She is also a guest lecturer for universities and educates healthcare professionals through continuing education, peer reviewed research and radio broadcasts and is the author of numerous articles and a book.

She enjoys blending her business background in marketing and publishing to create MLD courses current to the market. "I want my students to have employable skills, and am thrilled at the daily calls I receive from MLD Institute graduates who express thanks for finding meaningful and gainful employment."
