Pat's 45 year career experiences are in the Health Club & Spa industry for over a decade. She then pursued her career in Medical Massage partnering with several MD's and DC's. In 1985 Pat was introduced to "Bindegewebsmassage" and had a one year tutorial with Theresa Roehre, RN. Pat was able to gather many case histories which strengthened her understanding and skills in administering Bindegewebsmassage.

1990 Pat was asked to teach at the New York College of Health Professions. As this Institution grew Pat became the Chair of the Swedish Massage Program and Professor. She wrote and developed the curriculum for the European Massage Department; she supervised the student clinic and the teachers in her department.

Pat also maintained her own private practice as owner and Director of Wholistic Pathways, Lindenhurst, NY. Pat also served the American Massage Therapy Association in NY & FL Chapter(s) as President as well as a National Vice President.

She has just release a specialized DVD on CTM-Bindegewebsmassage from Head to Toe for home study education for advance education in massage therapy. Pat is a constant light of professionalism in her practice and promoting her profession. Pat now makes her home in Melbourne, FL.

CTM-Bindegewebsmassage predominantly affects the central nervous system, balancing the parasympathetic and sympathetic divisions of the autonomic nervous system. This workshop will introduce you to its history, the basic application in a sitting position, prone position as well as the legs for a treatment for lower back pain. CTM- Bindegewebsmassage influences the circulation the body surface in selected areas in doing so increased circulation pathways to other regions of the organism in its reflexive manor. Pulling strokes are carefully applied and follow a prescribed order, starting in the sacral and pelvic regions. CTM-Bindegewebsmassage attempts to influence the pathological alterations on the body surface as far as these can be influenced by alterations in the circulation. Change in peripheral temperature ads in warming the hands and feet. Relief of Visceral Functional Symptoms- patients suffering from asthma suddenly breathe freely and deeply. Relief of Visceral Pain causing gastric discomfort can be lessened. Finally patients/clients report a general feeling of homeostasis and are very inductive to sleep.
