All classes involve hands on training. If participants take all 16 hours, it will count as the lower body section of Orthopedic Massage Certification. James will be back in Las Vegas in the fall of 2012 for the upper body portion and in 2013 for the Five Day Intensive to allow therapists in the Las Vegas area to get certified. James has never done a total certification package in the Las Vegas area and will not be doing another one in the next few years in that area.
Participants that are not working towards certification can take individual 4 hour blocks, but it is highly suggested that they take pelvic stabilization prior to taking complicated knee conditions. Overview of Orthopedic Massage & Integrated Manual Therapy 4 CE Credit Hours The manual therapist will get an overview of Orthopedic Massage, that takes a close look at how orthopedic massage is a total system. Rather than focusing on one modality, this total system takes a detailed look at the importance of detailed functional assessment and special orthopedic testing to allow the manual therapist to best choose the most appropriate modality or technique for each individual clinical condition. Through this process the manual therapist will custom design each individual treatment plan to eliminate complicated clinical conditions throughout the body. Based on the detailed assessment and custom designed treatment plan, the manual therapist will also design an individualized self care plan to eliminate complicated pain conditions forever and optimize athletic performance. Our all new client intake forms will be distributed, to allow all manual therapists to raise the bar in being respected by the health care system. Participants will be eligible to be a case study, and there will be hands on training in assessment and orthopedic testing as we look inside the human body at computerized 3D functional anatomy images for a number of complicated clinical conditions. New clinical studies, and cutting edge research, will be shared that will forever change the way the manual therapists looks at treating complicated musculoskeletal pain condition.
