Thank you for joining us and participating in the 2007 World Massage Festival and for all the glowing evaluations we received! We have taken all your suggestions to heart and made changes to many aspects for the 2008 Festival.

You wanted more vending time, so we have planned to have early Festival check in for therapists and the vendors will be all set up and ready to go from Noon to 6 pm on Friday, August 1. And added this year, for the media and therapists will be a "Massage Symposium". From 4PM- 6PM will be a Q & A session geared towards understanding the profession from the newest members of the Hall of Fame points of view. Yes, you will be able to pose questions as well. Classes will not begin until Saturday morning.

After visiting the vendors and checking into your hotel suite, there will be a Reception for the Hall of Fame Inductees in the Conference Center Lobby from 7 pm to 10 pm. We will have a selection of finger foods for you to enjoy and there will be a cash bar. This will give us all time to network and meet the instructors and Hall of Famers, if you miss the Symposium.

The Edgewater has been given a heads up that many of those attending are vegetarian and they will keep this in mind for the weekend. Each of the suites at the Edgewater come with complete kitchens (fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, everything you need), private bedrooms and baths and a sleeper sofa in the living room.....so keep in mind that sharing a suite will save you money and the prices will be good for 3 days prior to the Festival and three days afterward!

Registration for 2008 has already taken off and don't forget about the SIX PACK --- get 5 friends to register with you and your class registration is FREE!

We have uploaded some post-event information and photos to the website, and will soon have order forms for T-shirts, Hats and the Festival DVD.

For the 2008 classes, we have some folks coming back by popular demand! Nathalie Cecilia is returning with her 2-hour Bamboo Fusion class.

Michael Buck will be teaching some new & extended techniques with 8-hour classes in 2008! Michael wants to set a record for 100 students in his class and we are going to do our best to help him! Karen Reifinger has decided to match Michael with her LomiLomi class. The Aquatic Therapy will be in the Lagoon Pool that is just beautiful. So these are going to be fantastic classes. This is the perfect time and place for you to get your credits needed.

We need your help in getting the word out to all your friends and fellow therapists all over the country about this great opportunity to have a "reunion on the beach" with hundreds of things to do and also get your quality educational credits at the same time! So print out the poster on the front page and post it everywhere.
